Our physicians provide forensic physical, psychiatric/psychological, and gynecologic examinations.
No. PHRC provides forensic medical evaluations, which are strictly intended to furnish evidence of physical or psychologic harm for legal proceedings. Our providers do not provide medical services for clients.
If your client is in need of medical care, we may be able to refer them to low-cost clinical resources in Philadelphia.
We host an annual training for medical providers. Please visit the "Annual Training" tab to learn about the upcoming date(s). Attendance of the event and completion of a post-training survey is required to volunteer with PHRC.
Alternatively, healthcare providers who have previously completed training with another organization can send their training certificate to phrc.operations@gmail.com to be added to our volunteer list.
Healthcare providers may also complete the Asylum Medicine Training Initiative online modules. Please send proof of completion of the AMTI modules to phrc.operations@gmail.com to be added to our volunteer list.

Due to capacity restrictions, we can only accomodate medical student volunteers from the Perelman School of Medicine, Lewis Katz School of Medicine, Drexel College of Medicine, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine at this time.
